Fish Report
8/29/09 -River Name Hoppers and golden stones are taking fish on the banks. There are also some very prolific mayfly hatches that are working on banks and riffles. Fishing is very good right now.
8/29/09 - River Name The upper Teton is fantastic on small dry flies and hoppers. There are some very large fish up feeding. The hatch starts late and ends early and the fish are hungry.
History
We use McKenzie style drift boats or custom rafts on most of the larger rivers, while the smaller rivers provide a great walk/wade experience. We use the boats for transportation to cover several miles of great water in a day, dropping anchor frequently to get out and wade fish certain areas. What better way to spend a Montana fly fishing vacation than floating down one of our famous rivers catching fish and enjoying the scenery!
